Mary Ann Kaperak, 79 passed away on December 2, 2023. She was born on September 15, 1944 in Terre Haute to Stephen Kaperak and Nellie (Osborn) Kaperak. She worked at RCA for 30 years where she received multiple awards. She also has worked many jobs over the years, including Burns Security, CT Systems, Thomson Consumer Electronics, Adecco, Kelly Services, Hoosier Handpack, DADC Packager, Pfizer, and Rocke Diagnostics.

Mary enjoyed painting stained glass, and she was great at sewing sweatshirts. She also loved reading, especially the Sunday papers. When she was younger, she took belly dancing classes. Mary loved to visit and talk with anyone she came in contact with.

She is survived by her brother Tom Kaperak of New Mexico. She is preceded in death by both parents, sister Martha Sickles, brothers Stephen Kaperak, Joseph Kaperak, and John Paul Kaperak; and an infant brother.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm at DeBaun Funeral Home with a service to follow at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kindey Foundation. Cremation was entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
