Mary E. Huntworth, 96, of Decatur, IL and formerly of Farmersburg, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her family. Mary was born June 30, 1920, in Farmersburg, IN to Thomas R. and Bertha (Houpt) Curry. She married Richard "Harold" Huntworth on November 1, 1941, in Farmersburg, IN. He passed away January 4, 1972. Mary was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Farmersburg, IN, Presbyterian Women's Association, Bunko Club and a diehard Indiana University Basketball fan. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Daniel) Pullum of Decatur; two grandchildren, Angela (Derek) Yetter and Todd (Pam Roberts) Pullum; daughter-in-law, Vikki Huntworth of Terre Haute, IN and a brother-in-law, Joe Hogan of Terre Haute, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Richard Alan Huntworth; five brothers and three sisters. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mary E. Huntworth will be 12 noon Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Rev. Jeff Lee officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 10:00 AM -12 Noon at the funeral home.
