Martha Jean Parker, 86, of Terre Haute passed away Monday April 20, 2026 in Gibson Family Hospice Center. She was born May 7, 1939 in Parke County, Indiana to Harry and Margaret (Wilson) Hendrickson, Martha was a wonderful mother and is survived by a son, Rob Ennen (Mary); daughter, Kim Heald (Gary); sister, Betty Akers; sister-in-law, Kathy Parker; brothers-in-law, Jerry Parker (Pam) and Greg Parker (Laurie); grandchildren, Justin Ennen, Kayla Fletcher (Trent), and Paige Ennen; great grandchildren, Oliver Fletcher and Kylan Fletcher; several beloved nieces and nephews; step son Eric Parker; step-grandchildren, Morgan Parker and Amanda Sharp; step great-grandchildren, Arya Hazen and A.J. Hazen. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Parker, who died December 16, 2025; sister, Mary Helen Pulliam and brother, David Hendrickson. Martha was a dedicated music teacher and choir director at Otter Creek Middle School for 36 years and she was choir director at United Methodist Church for 20 years. She was a member of Agape Christian Church and also sang with the Sweet Adelines. A Celebration of Life will be held in Martha’s memory on Friday May 1, 2026 at Agape Church. The service will be led by Pastor Dave Rawls, a dear friend of Martha, Ron and the entire family. Services will start at 11:00am followed by a luncheon. All friends and family are invited to celebrate and honor Martha. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Flat Rock, Illinois at 4:00 pm EDT (3:00 pm CDT).
