Martha Helen (Winger) Heath August 20, 1940-March 14, 2016 Martha Helen (Winger) Heath, age 75, of Terre Haute, Indiana died March 14, 2016 from complications of long-term congestive heart failure. Family was by her side at Union Hospital. Martha was born to Horace and Ruth Winger in Hutsonville, Illinois on August 20, 1940. One of three children, Martha went on to pursue multiple education degrees at both the bachelors and masters level, which served her beloved 21 year-long career in the Vigo County School Corporation. With her unique talents and abilities she guided every child to reach their fullest potential. She thoroughly enjoyed quilting and world traveling. In the last several years she and her husband Larry split their time between their Terre Haute home and wintering on St. George Island in Florida. Martha is survived by her husband Dr. Larry Heath, daughter and son-in-law Katie and Darrel Bell, sons and daughters-in-law Paul Sipes, Mike and Jodie Sipes, Matt and Janet Heath, and Erick and Colleen Heath, grandchildren Ryan, Emily, and Andrew Sipes, Rachael Bell, Jessica and Benry Yip, Alex, Marlo, and Hayden Heath, one great-grandchild Hayden Francese, sister Fay McIntosh, and nieces and nephews Scott and Meredith Harrison, and Pat and Vangie Harrison. She was preceded in death by a spouse Stuart Sipes, son Paul Heath, sister Kay Harrison, and parents Horace and Ruth Winger. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 1-4pm at the residence of Larry and Martha Heath. Friends and family are welcome to drop by and pay their respects during this time. The family asks that you bring your favorite Martha story!
