Martha Jane Belflower Nicholas, age 82, went home to be with our Lord on July 12, 2013. She passed away peacefully in her own home, surrounded by family. Jane is survived by her husband of 63 years, John Lewis Nicholas, Sr., their son John Lewis Nicholas, Jr. and his wife Ruthie, their daughter Janice Cook and her husband Garry, 7 grandchildren, 24 and a half great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Jane, originally from Orlando, FL, was a retired nurse and long-time active member of Fairview Shores Baptist Church in Orlando. After she and her husband moved to Terre Haute, IN to be closer to family, she was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. There will be a gathering of friends and family at 6:00 pm Tuesday July 16, 2013 at Crossroads Baptist Church in West Terre Haute, Kasameyer Road and Robinson road, with a memorial service at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Southern Care Hospice, 2204 Lakeshore Dr., Suite 475, Birmingham, AL 35209.
