Mark James Teegarden, 60, passed away on April 7, 2025. He was born on July 10, 1964 in Terre Haute to James Teegarden and Jeanne (Abfalter) Dunlap. On June 17, 2006, Mark married Becky (Edwards) Teegarden, the daughter of Rudy and Betty (Thomas) Edwards of Vincennes. He just recently retired from the IT department at North American Lighting.

Mark enjoyed woodworking, bicycling, and working with electronics. He had a good sense of humor and was known for his kindness and big heart. Mark loved the Lord, serving as an active member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, and he loved his family deeply.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, his father James Teegarden (Gail), mother Jeanne Dunlap, children Adam Teegarden, Paige Covey, and Cameron Teegarden (Ciara Syester); siblings Daniel Teegarden (Christina), Susan Snow (Michael), and Christopher Teegarden; stepsister Bunny (Dan) Stephens, Debbie (Larry) Leverenz, and Kathy (Andy) York; and nieces and nephews, Mary, Mathew, Megan, Katlin, and Zach. He is preceded in death by his stepfather Bill Dunlap.

The visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm at DeBaun Funeral Home. Promptly following the visitation, the family wishes to invite those who are able to a dinner at the Sugar Creek Baptist Church in West Terre Haute. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 10 am at the Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes.
