Mark E Bailey, 88 of Terre Haute, passed away at 6:46 am Friday, May 30, 2014. Born on July 29, 1925 to Charles E. Bailey and Daisy (Snodgrass) Bailey. He was a United States Marine Corp Veteran of WWII, who served in the South Pacific. He retired from the Indiana State Police Motor Carrier Division in 2001 after 44 years of service. He was also a member of the Social Lodge No. 86, F. & A.M. He is survived by Alberta R. (Slusser) Bailey, the mother of his three sons, Ronald E. Bailey, Mark S. (Steve) Bailey (Melody), and Randy C. Bailey; brother Marion Bailey (Phyliss); grandchildren Tamara L. Cochran (Phil), Trishla D. Hawkins (Jay), and Brock A. Bailey; great-grandchildren Jacob R. Hawkins and Lily T. Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers. Visitation is Friday, June 6, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 pm at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Private family graveside services will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
