Marjorie "Margie" Kay Myles Clark, 86, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. She was born July 9, 1938, in Terre Haute, to James Orval Myles and Inez Waneta Smith Myles. Margie was a 1956 graduate of Wyley High School. She married the love of her life, Charles "Charlie" Clark on December 1, 1960. Margie was an avid bowler for over 70 years. Recently, she was presented the Best Sportsmanship award. She was a bus driver for the Vigo County School Corporation for 27 years. Margie also volunteered at Terre Haute Regional Hospital for 14 years. Most of all she lived for her family. Her children and especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest accomplishment and most prized treasure.
Margie is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 64 years, Charlie Clark, daughter Tonya Dishon, sons Trey Clark (Angela) and Todd Clark (Melinda), six granddaughters, and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law Jerry Dishon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Service will begin at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Gormong officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Heart-to-Heart Hospice for the love and care given to Margie and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice in memory of Margie.
