Marilyn Jean Edwards, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Monday April 15, 2024 in Union Hospital. She was a retired press operator at CBS. Marilyn was born September 1, 1932 to Joseph and Helen (Wall) Scherr. She is survived by her son, Steven Gidorkis; grandchildren, Stephanie Gidorkis, David Gidorkis (Malvine), and Laura Woods (Rick); great-grandchildren, Justin Stanley (Madison), Mackenzie Stanley, Luke Gidorkis, Selena Woods, and Elyssa Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwards, who died May 11, 2023; sons, Larry Gidorkis and Gary Gidorkis, and an infant brother. Marilyn enjoyed traveling and reading which she did all of the time. She also enjoyed being outdoors, gardening. Visitation will be Saturday April 20, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery.
