Margaret Ann Burt, 52, of Terre Haute, passed away at 2:40 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Union Hospital. She was born in Highland Park, MI on August 4, 1960 to Dautry F. Cabe and Rita Margaret DeNino Cabe. Margaret was truly an Angel here on earth & was a friend to everyone. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She is survived by her husband Michael Burt and children Derek McMillan and wife Lacey, Skylar Long, Justin Burt, C. Cody Burt and Madison Burt. Also surviving is her mother Rita M. Cabe, 2 brothers, Sam Cabe & wife Lisa, and Brian Cabe, and 1 sister, Joetta Scanland & husband Jack. In addition, she has 2 grandsons who also survive, Wyatt McMillan and Conrad McMillan, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been chosen and a Memorial service will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 7:00 PM. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday in the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to The Bethany House, 1402 Locust St., Terre Haute, IN 47807, in her memory.
