Mangalaben Sumantbhai Patel, 95, passed away on August 19, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1929 to Naranbhai and Kashiben Patel. She and her late husband, Sumantbhai Patel, both worked as teachers in India. She later went on to manage a cottage industry to help the underserved. She took great pride in raising her children and helping raise her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Pragna Patel (Shantilal Patel), Gita Jinwala (Jagdish Jinwala), and Raksha Jameria (Arvind Jameria); grandchildren Mittal Patel, Prashant Patel, Amar Patel, Zenith Jameria, Jinal Patel; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband and both parents.
