Macie Leora Taylor, 98 of Terre Haute, passed away at 9:05 PM on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Union Hospital. She was born in Sebree, KY on September 15, 1917 to Sylvester Edwards and Letha Edwards. Mrs. Taylor was a retired school teacher, having taught for several years in the Vigo County School Corporation, and was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph H. Taylor, a grandson, Patrick Taylor, and two great grandchildren, Patrick Taylor and Joshua Taylor. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Taylor in 2009. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Bernie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
