Mable I. Mullen, 95, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday December 14, 2022 in Providence Healthcare. She was born September 14, 1927 in Wheatfield, Indiana to John and Grace (Westmoreland) Robinson. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Byrd (Aaron) and Catherine Mullen (Timothy); grandchildren, Heather Williams (Chip) and Aaron Mitchell Byrd (Tara) and great-grandchildren, Christian Byrd (Allysia), Abigail Williams, Isabella Williams, Kerrigan Byrd, Carson Byrd, and Katherine Byrd. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Miller, who died May 2, 1971; sons, Larry Mullen, Michael Mullen, and James H. Mullen and sisters, Opal Crouch and Florence. Mable was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic church. She volunteered for may years at the Terre Haute Humane Society. She was also a Scout Leader for Troop #15. She was a caregiver for many people and she loved being outdoors, gardening and backyard bird watching. Mable also loved to crochet, sew, and quilt. Private family services will be at a later date.
