Lucy D. Cutts, 72, of Terre Haute passed away suddenly on September 8, 2015 at Union Hospital. She was born in Riverside, CA on March 18, 1943 to Emmett and Martha (Gilmore) Sanders. She had been employed as a hair stylist and cosmetologist at J. C. Penney Hair Salon. She was a member of the Honey Creek Garden Club and faithfully attended church. She is survived by her son Roland Cutts (Raymond Oaks) of Indianapolis; her daughter Tammy Jarvis (Alan) of Terre Haute, grandchildren Felicia (Andrew) Garber and VanNessa (Bobby) Hargis and her great-grandchildren Corbin, Zoe, Garrett, Gavin, and Gabriella. She is also survived by a sister Marguerite Stephens of Palm Springs, CA and a brother Fred Sanders of WY. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Rev. Merrill Weir, Jr. officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery.
