Lucinda Yvette "Cindy" Trueblood, 69, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her beloved family.  She was born August 30, 1951 in Terre Haute to Homer Wells and Bessie Mae Swan Wells.  Cindy worked as the Human Resources Manager for Root's Department store from 1987-1999.  She later worked for Jadcore in Human Resources until she retired in 2016.  Donating to the Terre Haute Humane Society was very near and dear to Cindy's heart.  Most of all Cindy loved to spend time with her family.  Her children and grandchildren were her world.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John Trueblood, daughter Summer Burke (Brandon), son John Trueblood, Jr. (Tyra), grandchildren Bria Burke, Olivia Burke, Justen Trueblood, and Jayden Trueblood, sister Betty Dyer (Jack), sister-in-law Judy Williams (Phil), and brother-in-law Danny Trueblood (Barbara).  She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley or the Terre Haute Humane Society.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of the Wabash Valley for the caring and support given.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
