Lucille W. Rector, 92, of Terre Haute, passed away at 3:35 a.m. on October 12, 2013. She was born in Greene County, IN on December 23, 1920 to Oscar Wolf and Myrtle (Buskirk) Wolf. Lucille was a member of Union Christian Church. She retired from Roots Department Store. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Ray C. Rector on February 27, 1981 and her parents. She is survived by her son David Rector, his wife Connie; daughter Gail Owens; grandchildren Marc Owens, Stephanie Puryear, her husband Carlton, Josh Rector, and Jennifer Downing; great grandchildren Jack Puryear, Kasarah Puryear, Tristan Puryear, Kaitlyn Puryear, and Reagin Downing; sister-in-laws Wilma Hutchinson and Mary Lou Rector; and nephews Gary Rector and Barry Rector. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday October 14, 2013 at 3:00p.m. in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Rev. Mark Grayless will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00p.m. until service time. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, privately on Tuesday. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
