Lori Ann McDonald, 60, of Taylorsville, Kentucky passed away Friday July 24, 2026 in her residence, surrounded by family. She was born July 17, 1966 in Cook County, Illinois to James McDonald and Karen Louise Coppage. Lori is survived by her husband, Joseph Lantz; mother, Karen Zundell; children, Harrison Steele and his child, Margot Steele; Zachary and Sally Jo Steele and their children, Alena, Hanna, and Landon Steele; Joshua Steele; Sarah and Lukas Tenuta; and Katherine Tenuta; sisters, Julie Knudson-Izzarelli and Jennifer Dhuse and brother, Thomas Molony. She was preceded in death by her father, James McDonald. Lori was a nationally recognized Histologist working at Stanford University Hospital. She was a thrill seeker who enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, hosting parties, spending the day at the beach and shooting for sport. She was a devote catholic and participated in the Leukemia as Lymphoma society Marathon in Dublin Ireland. Lori’s loved ones want to extend a special thank you for all the support they received from family and friends. Visitation for Lori will be Saturday August 1, 2026 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a funeral service starting at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
