Lois A. Smith, 82, of Terre Haute passed away at her residence December 16, 2013. She was born on September 20, 1931 to Cleve and Edna (Gosnell) Campbell. Her husband, James A. Smith, II preceded her in 1997. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Jerry Smith and wife Terri, and Jimmy Smith and his wife Tami. She has five grandchildren Jeff Smith and wife Sarah, Henry Smith and wife Carrie, Lesley Bell and husband Cascius, James Leggett and wife Brooke, and Courtney Smith, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by a daughter, Deborah Smith, and a grandson Travis J. Smith. In keeping with her wishes funeral services and burial will be private.
