Obituary

Lois A. Clouse. 97 of Farmersburg, died at 9am Wednesday March 15, 2023. She was born September 14, 1925, in Marion, Indiana. to Reverend Floyd and Elvira Goins.

She was a resident of Farmersburg for 71 years and taught piano out of her home.  Lois taught for 50 years and was very active with the National Music Teachers and was recognized with awards for over 30 years of teaching.

Lois was also a member of the Prairie Creek Wesleyan Church where she was a musician and teacher.

She is preceded in death by Ellis Clouse after 50 years of marriage.  She is also preceded by two children Gary Wayne and Ruth Ann.

Lois is survived by her children, Randall (Joanne), Russell (Lutricia), Philip (Diana) and Saralynn (Mark); brother Howard (Mary) and sisters Mary (Paul) and Martha; eight grandchildren and eight step grandchildren, among whom are Robert Clouse, Danae Garibaldi, Erica Clouse, Jolen Harper and Patrick Griffy, and five great-grandchildren

Visitation will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Service will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. will Reverend Dan Gormong officiating.  Burial will follow at Farmersburg Westlawn Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
