Linda D. Benton, 68, of Terre Haute passed away on July 27, 2020.  She was born on September 14, 1951 to James M. Pope and Ruby Louise Wiley Pope.  Linda is preceded in death by both parents as well as her brother Ed Pope.  She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Benton; children Kevin Benton (Lynette), Tracy McCord (Sam), and Billy Benton (Jamie); siblings James M. Pope and Brenda Raley; grandchildren Brandon Benton, McKinsey McCord, Morgan McCord, and Logan Benton; Step-grandchildren Lacey, Tyler, Sarah, and Nathan; great-grandchildren Braxton, Brantly, Hannah, Easton, and Brooklyn, as well as several nieces and nephews. Linda shared her faith and love of God with her husband Bill, as they pastored (AFT) and ministered in various aspects over the last 25 years.  She was known for her random acts of kindness, her endless generosity, working in ladies engagement, and being a mentor to anyone in need.  Linda was a friend to all who knew and met her.  Her life was summed up in two words- "She Loved!"  Visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, July 31 at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church, 1442 S. 10th Street Terre Haute 47802, from 2:00-5:00 PM with services starting at 5:00 PM.  Burial at Farmersburg Westlawn will follow.
