Lewis M. Drake, 74, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 in Union Hospital.

He was born January 6, 1942 in Sullivan, Indiana to Lloyd M. Drake and Mary Agnes ( Thomson ) Drake.

Lewis worked in accounting at J.I. Case until the plant closed and retired from Bemis in 2002. He was a member of Maryland Community Church.

Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife, Beverly Drake; and his granddaughter, Hannah.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Brenda (Pound) Drake; his son, Ryan Drake (Jodi) of Carmel, Indiana; his daughters, Lori Clark of Terre Haute and Lisa Klimek (Marty) of Columbia City, Indiana; his stepsons, David Dean (Maryann) of Marietta, Georgia, Kevin Dean (Sarah) of Terre Haute, and Devan Dean (Astra) of Effingham, Illinois; his stepdaughter, Julie Dean of Terre Haute. Lewis is also survived by his brother, Lester M. Drake (Paula) of Farmersburg, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brad, Matt, Melissa, Kyler, Caden, Spencer, Caroline, Garrett, Owen, Andrew, Riley, Beckham, Jaylam, Jaxson, Brayden, Aiden, Caiden, Kyra, Atticus, Logan and Lilah; and his great grandchildren, Wesley and Lilli.

Services will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, Indiana 47802. Visitation will be Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pogue Cemetery; Vince McFarland will be officiating.
