Lewis Noah Brackall, 71, passed away on May 21, 2024. He was born on May 18, 1953 in Terre Haute to Billy J. Brackall and Thelma (Froschauer) Brackall. He married Linda (Anderson) Brackall on August 2, 1975. He retired from the Vigo County School Corporation after 36 years of being an art and physical education teacher, and he also coached girls' sports for many years, including soccer, softball, and basketball. In his spare time, Lewis loved fishing, mushroom hunting, and taking his dogs to his pond. He was a very talented painter as well. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, sons Matt Brackall (Kristy) and Josh Brackall (Chelsea), grandchildren Ben Brackall, Charlee Brackall, Quinn Brackall, Noah Brackall; sister Diana Kesler (John), and many other relatives. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and in-laws Vernon and Virginia Anderson.

Cremation was chosen per his wishes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Helping Hands in West Terre Haute. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
