Leslie Erin Steigmeyer, 36, of Terre Haute, died Saturday September 3, 2022, after valiant fight with a rare cancer, Uveal Melanoma.

Leslie graduated from Terre Haute South in 2004 and from ISU in 2016 with a BS in Construction Management. Her work history includes Gibault Child Services as a mental health tech, Patriot Engineering Services as a field technician, Freitag-Weinhardt Inc. as a project engineer, and most recently helping her fiancé, Aaron Scott care for his father, Terry, and managing the Scott family farm.

Leslie was an avid dirt track racing fan, loved target practicing, fishing, woodworking with her dad, and anything to do with animals.

She is survived by her son, Bryson Jenkins; fiancé, Aaron Scott; brother, Scott Steigmeyer; parents, Tim and Connie (Elliott) Steigmeyer; uncle, Jim Steigmeyer (Rosa); aunts; Carol Ellis, Barbara Alford, Janet Steigmeyer (Michael), Pam Steigmeyer (John); and numerous cousins in Indiana, Massachusetts and Florida. Leslie leaves behind her pet family-puppies Kinser, Phoenix, Olivia and Duchess, and kitties Bubba and Boomer.

Visitation will be Friday, September 9, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
