Leola Mae Hilton, 91, of Terre Haute passed away on April 17, 2013 at 7:34 p.m. She was born on January 31, 1922 to Donald F. Scott and Nellie Mae (Armstrong) Scott. Leola served in WWII in the United States Navy Nurse Corps. While in Norfolk, Virginia, she met her husband Rudolph. Leola enjoyed reading and crocheting quilts and pillows. She was Pacers, IU, ISU, and Colts Fan. She rarely missed a televised game. Leola was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph L. Hilton, on March 13, 1981; her parents; and her sister Donna Purdum. She is survived by her son Scott L. Hilton, his wife Sonja; daughters Rebecca L. Shettleroe, her husband Michael, Billie Jo Phillips, her husband Melvin, Trudy Lee Ruch, her husband Charles, Judy Ann Paden, her husband Craig, Renee L. Ball, and her husband Ted; grandchildren Lorie Shealy, Heidi Fredericks, Reagan Ruch, Becci Ruch, Liz Cook, Lindsey Ball, Ashley Hilton, Haley Hilton, Christie Crowther, and Cleta Ball. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday April 20, 2013 at 1:00p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Dr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m.
