Lenard Marton Francis, 85, of Terre haute died peacefully surrounded by his children on the morning of Saturday, April 29th at 12:13 in Union Hospital.  He was born March 6th, 1932, in terre haute Indiana.  Lenard was retired as an installer for ATD security. He was a member of the Oregon Baptist Church.  Lenard was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Francis, who passed away Feb 22, 2011.  They had been married for 60 years.  Also preceding him in death are his parents, Benjamin Francis of Indiana and Mona Blanche Douglas of Indiana ;his grandchild Brian; and many brothers and sisters.  Survivors include his son Chris (Angie) Francis; daughters Linda Berry and Sharon (Frank) Thompson; his grandchildren, Dustin, Courtney, and Tim; as well as nine great grandchildren.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 2nd 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services on Wednesday May 3rd 2017 at 11 a.m.  with Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at hull Cemetery.
