Lavana "Vana" Bailey, 55, of St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana passed away October 26, 2016 at home.

Vana was born April 24, 1961 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Melvin Lee Goatee and Reba Sparks Goatee.

Vana worked at Indiana State University for 23 years. She was currently employed at Drury Inn. She was a member of the Wabash Valley Mustang Club.

Vana was preceded in death by her father; and her father and mother-in-law, Max and Helen Bailey.

She is survived by her husband, Mickey "Mick" Bailey, whom she married February 6, 1988; her mother, Reba Williams, her daughters, Tabatha Hollifield and her husband, Matt and Crystal Jones and her husband, Harold, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittany Hollifield, Shai Hollifield, Greysen Hollifield, Piper Hollifield, Celeste Jones and Nate Jones. She is also survived by her brother, Mickey Goatee and his wife, Diane; her sisters, Penny Pickens and her husband, Warren, Trena Weger and her husband, Steve, Connie Fields and her husband, Dean and Teresa Bennett; her sister-in-law's, Vickie Spurr and her husband, Donnie and Debbie Klein and her husband, Tom; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
