Larry Duane Strain, 83, passed away on March 4, 2022 in Jasonville, IN. He was born on October 1, 1938 to the late Lawrence W. Strain and Pearl (Johnson) Strain.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Jean, a sister Mary Lou Kester, brothers Russell Lloyd Stain, and Richard Lee Strain.

Larry is survived by his wife Corky (Selby) Strain, a son Brad Strain, stepchildren David Lucas and Darla Barnett, and nine Grandchildren, a sister Judy Ann Cress of Terre Haute, Indiana.

Larry loved his cars and dressing them up. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR races and watching basketball games. Larry and his wife loved motorcycle riding and would take long trips on them. He also was a country music fan.

Larry graduated from Prairie Creek High School and proudly served in the United States Army. He was retired from Stran Steel, Underwood Trucking Co, and both Terre Haute Walmart locations. The family would like to thank Dr. Mendoza and staff.
