Larry R. Montgomery, 71, of Terre Haute passed away Monday January 24, 2022 in Union Hospital.  After graduating high school he served active duty with the US Army until 1972.  After his service he worked at Quality Lime, AMAX Coal Chinook Mine (UMWA Local 1216), and IUOE Local 841.  A hard worker his entire life, he never complained about work unless there wasn't any to do.  Larry was born September 2, 1950 in Marshall, Illinois to Charles and LaVerne (Kirby) Montgomery. A loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Donna (Barnhart) Montgomery and sons, Eric Montgomery (Melissa Hendrix) and Davy Montgomery. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lorraine Perry. Per Larry's wishes, cremation has been chosen. DeBaun Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
