Larry R. Fields, 68, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday September 4, 2013 in Westridge Healthcare Center. He was a press operator at Standard Register. Larry was born March 25, 1945 in Terre Haute to Henry Fields and Lillian Maxine (Whitlock) Fields. He is survived by 2 daughters, Rita Knott and her husband Don of Terre Haute and Leslie Gackle and her husband Eric of Terre Haute; a son, Michael Fields and his wife Hollie of Sullivan; grandchildren, Colton, Jaedyn, Bailee, Caleb, Hayley, Kayla, Aaron, Ian, and Matthew; a sister, Peggy Deckard of Terre Haute; 3 brothers, James Fields of Farmersburg, Fred Fields of Terre Haute, and Terry Fields of Shelburn, and several nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Fields. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and belonged to a Breakfast Club that he met with once a month. Visitation will be Sunday September 8, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. immediately following visitation with be a private family gathering for children and grandchildren only. Following visitation, cremation is scheduled.
