Larry Benford, 69, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital following complications of COVID-19.  He was born October 8, 1951 in Terre Haute to Rufus and Rosa Lee Benford.  He attended Lincoln Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Jr. High and Gerstmeyer High School.

He is survived by seven children: Tami Bolton, Larry, Lorenzo, Peaticee, Danielle, and Isiah Benford, and Mezmariah Wilson; nineteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two brothers: James T. Cain, Jr. and Albert Lorenzo Cain; and two sisters: Annie Benford Duvall and Candace Cain Devaney.

Funeral services for our loved one, Larry Benford, will be on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church located at 2401 7th Avenue in Terre Haute.  Reverend Michael Russell will preside.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.  Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery immediately following the service.  The family requests that all of those attending services at the church wear masks/face coverings.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
