Kevin Anthony Rice, 69, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday May 19, 2026 unexpectedly, in his residence. He was a Chief Engineer with the Interlake Steamship Company. He was born April 9, 1957 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Richard and Norita (Gruenwald) Rice. Kevin is survived by his daughter, Madison Rice (Jack); granddaughter, Presley Conner; sister, Kellie Blume (Herbie); brother, Richard “John” Rice (Toni) and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kevin was a member of the Marine Engineers’ Beneficial Association Union (M.E.B.A.). He loved Harley Davidsons and was a member of the North Coast Cleveland Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed genealogy and he loved working in his yard, sometimes mowing his grass twice a day.
