Kevin Donohue, 28, of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2013. He was born in Jamestown, NY on May 31, 1985 to James Edward Donohue and Emily Margaret (Davis) Donohue. He attended Lincoln Elementary and Persell Middle School in Jamestown, NY before he and his family moved to Terre Haute in 1999. He graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in 2003 as an AP Scholar with Honor. During his years at Terre Haute South, he was a manager for the basketball team for 4 years. He was a member of the golf team for 3 years. The team went to the State Finals in 2002 and 2003. After graduating from high school he attended Purdue University, where he earned a B.S. in Biochemistry. He then went on to IUPUI where he earned a Masters degree in Biology. Upon graduation, Kevin worked for ImmumeWorks in Indianapolis, IN where he did COPD drug research. While most recently residing in Brownsburg, Kevin had just completed his first year of law school at the Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, IN. He worked part time at Reichel IP in Indianapolis. His desire was to become a Patent Attorney upon graduation in 2015. Kevin enjoyed playing golf with his Dad and friends. He took great joy in making others laugh. He was a great son, brother, and friend. Kevin was loved passionately by his parents, brother and sister. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Kevin is survived by his parents James and Emily Donohue; brother Patrick Ryan Donohue; sister Kelly Lynn Donohue; paternal grandparents John and Katherine Donohue; maternal grandmother Carol Davis; aunts and uncles Thomas and Evelyn Donohue, Catherine and Mark Tracy, Sue and Tom Ryan, John and Terry Donohue, Ellen and Bill Marcantonio, Anne and Mark Counihan, Peg and Roy Brady, Mary and Dan Matusiewicz, Steve and Mary Donohue, Dollie Davis, Richard Davis, Margie Davis, Nelson and Sue Davis; many beloved cousins; and girlfriend Mandy Crandell. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Richard Davis and uncle Tony Davis. Mass of Christian Burial will be in Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 1807 Poplar Street, Terre Haute, IN at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday June 15, 2013. Father Rick Ginther will be officiating. Visitation will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, IN on Friday June 14, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Kevin will be buried in Saint Mary's Cemetery in South Glens Falls, NY.
