Kevin Bennett, 59, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with his family by his side. He was born on December 20, 1966, to David Bennett and Sue Ann Fagg. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents as well as three brothers David “Pudge” Bennett, Christopher Bennett, and Michael Bennett. He is survived by his step-parents Paul Fagg and Kathi Bennett; life partner Shelly Cardinal; sons Cole Joesph Bennett-Worley (Zack) and Adam Bennett; daughters Janie Bennett (Jacob) and Paige Bennett; brothers Tim Bennett (Dana) and Matt Bennett (Amanda); sister Kate Bennett (Daniel Hardin); Grandchildren Sweet Trav, Emery Sue Ann Bennett, and Payton Fugate; nieces and nephews Derrick, Avery, Mason, Braelyn, Della, and Tarah as well as his beloved canine companion Basil. Kevin owned and operated City Press and EZ Mailing. Being a local business owner, Kevin made sure to give back to the community. Kevin was a member of the Terre Haute Country Club, Printer’s Union #9, and The Men’s Club. Kevin dedicated a lot of his time helping with Terre Haute South Vigo’s wrestling program. He enjoyed back country fishing, catching Tarpon and snapper. Kevin was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, going to as many games as possible. He was also a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Indiana Pacers. He loved to travel, especially to Islamorada, FL. Kevin loved to host cookouts and family get togethers. Kevin enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports throughout their lives. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation for Kevin will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 3-7 PM with funeral services starting at 7:00 PM. Pastor Butch Leek will be officiating.
