Kenneth C. Steigerwald, 88, of Terre Haute passed away Friday August 21, 2020 in his residence. He was born August 26, 1931 in Johnson City, New York to Herb and Ethel (Biederman) Steigerwald. He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Cantrell (Kevin); brother, Donald Steigerwald (Pat); grandchildren, Kelsey Cantrell (Maxwell Pera) and Kyle Cantrell; great-grandson, Nicolis Pera, brother-in-law Art Thieme and seven nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet (Bailey) Steigerwald and his second wife, Patricia (Lee)  Steigerwald, stepmother Myrt, sisters Jean Steigerwald and Audrey Thieme. Kenneth was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a musician who played the trombone and loved Big Band Music. Private family burial will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at  New Harmony Cemetery with military honors.
