Kenneth Wayne "Kenny" ("Uncle Buck", "Pappy", "Papa") LaMar, 76, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2020 in Regional Hospital. He was born on May 28, 1944 in Evansville, Indiana, to Robert Lester and Mildred Agnes (Marchal) LaMar. He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mildred, his brother Robert "Bobby" LaMar and his sister Teresa "Terrie" LaMar Shoulders Ford. Kenny is survived by his caring wife of 42 years, Carolyn (Russell) LaMar; daughters, Kimberly Diana LaMar and Faye Sieple (Ron); sons, Ray Bledsoe (Jennifer), Kenneth Wayne LaMar II (Shannie), and Anthony Eugene "Gene" Bledsoe (April); sister-in-law, Linda LaMar; brothers-in-law, Britt Shoulders and Ray Ford; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; his "brother" Tom Fisher (Pat); exchange daughters, Ivana Peralta from Argentina, Christina Dalum Lindvang from Denmark, Maria Saaristo from Finland, and Jannie Bugge-Bury from Denmark; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church. Kenny was a heavy equipment mechanic, a passion that started when he was 16 and spanned for 52 years when he retired. He loved relaxing while working on his yard. He loved living life to the fullest and never met a stranger. He was loving, patient, generous and great at telling jokes. He was both physically and emotionally strong. He loved his pets, especially his dog Josie. And most of all, Kenny loved his family. Visitation will be Monday June 22, 2020 4-8 PM EST in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, prayer service with Rosary will start at 4 PM with Father Dan Bedel and Jerry Mooreman.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday June 23, 2020 at 1 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery with Father Dan Bedel officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com
