Kenneth Dean Brown, 65, of Terre Haute passed away Friday December 22, 2017 at 5:31 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was a retired piping engineer. Kenneth was born July 12, 1952 in Terre Haute to Phillip Brown and Mabel (Adams) Brown. He is survived by his wife, Denise (Cline) Brown; a daughter, Erica Williams (Brad) of Arkansas; sons, Kenneth Brown II of West Terre Haute, Norman Richey III of Prairie Creek, and Justin Richey of Terre Haute; sisters, Mary Grayless (Bill) and Phyllis Mitchell (Bill); 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tim Brown. Kenneth was a member of Pleasant Valley Church in Prairie Creek and also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute, and Kerman Grotto. He enjoyed checking on the neighborhood in his golf cart, listening to the birds and tinkering, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Visitation will be Friday December 29, 2017 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.
