Keith Allan Van Horn, 65, born February 14, 1951 in Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on September 16, 2016 in his home in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

Keith graduated with the class of 1970 from Gerstmeyer High School. He enlisted with the United States Army where he toured Germany and jumped with the 509th 8th Infantry Division Airborne. Keith also earned an HVAC certification from Ivy Tech.

Keith enjoyed discussing politics, history, watching the Colts play, listening to music (especially Neil Young) and was a member of the Masons , NRA and life-long Republican. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his two sons K.C. and Steven.

From 1978 until 2007 Keith worked at International Paper (formally Weston Paper) as a machine operator. In 2011 Keith retired to Altamonte Springs, Florida, where he spent his remaining days.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret (Westfall) Van Horn, and first wife Cheryl Van Horn. Keith is survived by sons Keith Charles, Steven Joseph, their mother Laurie Gasser and step-daughter Jodi Price-Thomas.

A memorial service in Keith's honor will be held on Saturday September 24, 2016 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 2:00 until 5:00 pm.
