Kay Skinner, 81, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday December 7, 2022 in IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was retired secretary for Hamilton Center. Kay was born January 25, 1941 in Peoria, Illinois to Velde A. and Frances H. (Miller) Layten. Kay is survived by her daughter, Kali Costner (Marvin); great-grandchildren, Iris and Dalilah Costner and her beloved cats, Nibby and Twinkie. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Skinner. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Kay loved reading her Bible and spending time with her family and her cats. She also enjoyed sports, especially the Cubs and Pacers. Visitation will be Tuesday December 13, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with graveside services to follow in Roselawn Memorial Park.
