Katie Lynn Nash, 28 years old of Terre Haute, IN, died tragically Friday Jan. 13,

2017, at

6pm surrounded by her family and friends.

Katie was born Jan. 5, 1989, and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a kind soul

with a huge heart and a great sense of adventure. Her love of life carried her down many

roads but her love for her family was everlasting. When it came to fashion she was a

trendsetter and she had recently enrolled in Ivy Tech to become an Image Consultant. If

Katie was your friend, she could make you laugh and make you cry but her loyalty was

forever. She will be deeply missed.

Katie is survived by her two sons Kaden Mahki Nash and Kristian James Nash; her

mother Cherie Montgomery; father and step mother Ted and Peggy Nash; Robert "Bear" Switzer special step dad; paternal grandmother Effie Ellen Nash; maternal grandfather Fred Dale Johnson; Aunts Anita Bryant (Kevin); Sherrie Sutton (Butch), Brenda "BJ" Voll (Richard); Uncle John Nash, Jr. (Doris); Uncle John Stieglitz; brothers Christopher James Switzer, Christopher Lee Nash; sister Emily Augusta Switzer; step sister Cassie Lowery (Devon); step brother Matthew Vansickle (Taylor);

several nieces, nephews and cousins; and very dear friend Annette Turner "Buddha".

Katie was preceded in death by the Love of her Life, Steve "Tubby" Sanders, Jr; maternal

grandmother Loretta Mae Johnson; paternal grandfather John Lloyd Nash, Sr.; Uncle

Brad Johnson.

Friends may call Wednesday Jan. 18th from 11am to 1pm at Debaun Springhill Funeral

Home, with services following at 1pm. Burial will be at Highland Lawn cemetery with

graveside services. Pallbearers will be Christopher Switzer, Chris Nash, Justin Stieglitz,

Matty Stieglitz, Michael Bryant and Annette Turner.
