Kathleen A. Viars, 56, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024.  She was born July 25, 1967, in Prince George, Maryland to Kenner D. Fortner, Sr. and Frances M. Nipper Fortner.  Kathleen was a beloved mother and grandmother.  She had a great personality and never met a stranger.  Shopping for treasures and caring for her plants gave her great joy.  She loved animals, especially cats.  Kathleen made the best biscuits and gravy.  She will be missed by many.

Kathleen is survived by her father Kenner Fortner, Sr.; sons, Brian Viars (Megan) and Jacob Viars (Sydney), grandchildren Raegan, Madison, and Denver, brother Kenny Fortner (Denise), nephew Kenny Fortner III and niece Kelly Fortner. She was preceded in death by her mother.
