Kathleen Ellen (Hurst) Dennany, 97, of Terre Haute passed away at Signature Healthcare on Wednesday July 25.  She was born to Daniel Logan Hurst and Roberta Edith (Nelson) Hurst on February 2, 1921 just south of Prarieton.  Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert D Dennany Sr and sister Harriett Jane Ping. She is survived by her step-children Robert D Dennany Jr, Claudette Dennany Adams and Stanley D Dennany (Patrece); her step-grandchildren Kari Racey (Aaron) Mitchell Dennany, and Grant Dennany, as well as three step-great-grandchildren Nathan, Isaiah and Gabrielle; her niece and three nephews, Brenda, Brant, Bart and Bradley Ping and serveral great nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friend Dorothy Farmer.  Kathleen worked as a legal secretary for 50 years mostly with Stanley Stohr and William Maher. Visitation for Kathleen will be Saturday July 28 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11-1:00 with services starting at 1:00 PM Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
