Katharine J. "Betty" Minor, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday February 4, 2016 in her residence. She was born December 15, 1930 in Chesterville, IL to Andrew B. Key and Gertrude Hazel (Burch) Key. Betty is survived by her sisters, Maxine Key of Terre Haute and Loraine Sutton of Terre Haute; a brother, Harold D. Key of Grand Rapids, MN; four nieces, Leeann Ryberg, Lynn Dohnam, Carry Ayers, and Marsha Losckeider; and two nephews, Thomas Sutton and Brent Sutton. Betty had worked at JC Penny and also for the telephone company. She loved gardening and making her crafts and she loved her three cats, Sammy, Freddy, and Maggie Sue. Visitation will be Monday February 8, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Ticen officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery in Martinsville, IL
