Karen S. Grubor, 65, of southern Vigo County, died at her residence August 15, 2015. She was born in Brazil, IN, July 2, 1950 to Floyd Chester Sanders and Berdina Evelyn Rhodes Sanders. They have preceded her in death. Her survivors are her husband, David R. Grubor, sons Bradley Lee Hughes and David Anthony Grubor; daughter Angela Curley and her husband Mike Curley, Sr. ; her brother Floyd Sanders and wife Margaret Ann; sisters Phyllis Jones and husband Monty, Sande Livingston and husband Richard, a grandson Michael Curley, Jr and an aunt Mary Girton and her husband Charles. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Jonathon Michael Curley and two sisters Marjorie Howard and Anna Akers. Karen gave of herself constantly and loved people and they loved her in return. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and watching western movies. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Graveside funeral services will be Thursday August 20, 2015 at Summit Lawn Cemetery, Brazil, IN. Rev. Don Ransford will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. Memorial contributions in her honor can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
