V. June Yadon, 89 of Terre Haute passed away January 24, 2015 at Springhill Village. She was born on April 27, 1925 in Jasonville, IN. She was the daughter of Ethel and Harry Whitaker. June retired from Shultz Department Store, also Meis and Stein Mart. She was an avid reader, loved arts and crafts, and baking. Most of all, June cherished the time she spent with her family. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her son, Lynn E. Shain. June is survived by her daughter, Karen McGuire and son, Terry Shain (California); grandaughters: Kelli McGuire, Erika Parker and Kallie Kratzer; Great-grandchildren: Kayne Parker-Egli, Olwyn Overpeck, Joshua Overpeck Jr., Karmen Butler and Kaliyah Butler; cousins: Paul and Linda Bradbury. At her request, there will be no services. She will be cremated at Debaun Funeral Home.
