Julia Juanita Crew, 96 of Farmersburg, IN and formerly of Lawrenceville, IL passed away at Signature Healthcare of Terre Haute at 4:45 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2015. She was born in Sullivan County, In on March 4, 1919 to Jess Richardson and Margaret Hayes Richardson. Julia was a graduate of Wiley High School and was a member of the First Christian Church of Bridgeport, IL. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Turner (husband Larry), and two grandchildren, Tracey Chambers and Jeff Duling, four great grandchildren; Amberlee Sage, Harry Chambers, Josh Duling, and Justin Duling, as well as a step-son, Jerry Crew, and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Doren Drake, and second husband Gerald Crew, as well as two brothers, Hubert Richardson and Clifford Richardson, and a sister, Velva Bell. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill chapel on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Don Ransford officiating. Burial will follow at Pogue Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 12 Noon - 2:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
