Judy M. Yates, 63, of Terre Haute passed away on November 25, 2013. She was born on December 14, 1949 to Dennis and Pearl Leasure Couch and they have preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister Janet Cuthrell. Judy was much more than a homemaker. She was a loving, accepting, and giving person that possessed an infectious smile and never met a stranger. Her survivors are her children; Matthew Tyler and wife Thais, Kelly Gilliland and husband Dustin, Victoria Fields and husband Jeff, Bruce Heather, and Monica Trefetheren. Her brothers and sisters are Fred Couch, Dennis Couch, Larry Couch, and Terri Couch and her grandchildren are Erika Fields, Colten Fields, Lucas Fields, Jared Fields, Brayden Gilliland, Andrew Gilliland, and Eiva Tyler. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Friday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Rev. Billy Henry officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until services. For those who choose memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
