Judith (Judy) A. Vaziri died peacefully Dec. 31, 2014 at home. She was born to the late Arlene and Alvin Yeager November 9, 1941. A long time resident of Terre Haute, Judy graduated from State High and attended Indiana State University. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mehdi, son Javad of St. Louis, MO and daughter Christine (Christy) of Terre Haute. She is also survived by brother David (Loretta) Yeager, sister Jayne (Stephen) Snoddy, in-laws Hamid, Majid, Fazollah, Alireza and Maryam Vaziri, Vaziri family members in Tehran, Iran and Canada, the Sizdahkhani and Golbadi families in Virginia as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Judy retired from Columbia Records, became known as the "flower lady" when working for Great Scot and retired recently from Kroger. Her lifetime love of plants and flowers was exhibited in her yard, also known as the plant orphanage because she often rescued plants and flowers destined for the trash pile. She also had a heart for animals and the number of strays she brought home are too numerous to count. She had a passion for genealogy and tracing her family roots. Her greatest joy, though, was through her children whom she adored beyond measure. She leaves a legacy of love, family, fun and laughter and will be greatly missed. Services will be January 3 at 1 p.m., DeBaun Funeral Home on E. Springhill Dr. in Terre Haute, with visitation at 12:00 p.m. Interrment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Terre Haute
