Judy K. Halberstadt Harris, 69, of Sullivan passed away Wednesday October 21, 2020 in Union Hospital. She was Auditor of Sullivan County for many years and also spent many years working at the courthouse. She was born July 22, 1951 in Sullivan to Robert E. and Marjorie L (Tarleton) Halberstadt. Judy is survived by her sisters, Jean Harris (Mark) and ruth Pruett (Jack); sister-in-law, Cather Halberstadt; several nieces and nephews, special friends, Farley Drake, Sharon Turpin, Connie Hollon and several others. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Kent Halberstadt. She was a member of the Community Foundation and the Red Hat Society. Judy was also on the West Central Indiana Economic board, the Democratic Central Committee Treasurer and the secretary for Sullivan County Park's and Lake. Visitation will be Saturday October 24, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Don Ransford officiating.
