Judith A. Jarvis, 80, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday April 2, 2019 at 3:15 am in her residence. She was born July 19, 1938 in Crawfordsville to John Moody and Lena (Black) Moody. She was co-owner with her husband of Gene Jarvis Insurance. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wilbert Gene "Butch" Jarvis whom she married December 14, 1958; daughter, Candace Jarvis-Campbell (William) Cloverdale; son, Wayne Jarvis of Terre Haute; son-in-law, Jeff Sutherland of Ohio; sister, Carol Ray of Ohio; grandchildren, Patrick Sutherland of Ohio, Tyler Sutherland of Utah, Brenna Fossell (Tyler) of SC, and Elizabeth Gwin (Corey) of Greenwood and great-grandchildren, Emery Fossell and Corbin Gwin. She was preceded in death by a daughter Pamela Sutherland. Judith was a 1956 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and she was a teachers aid at Fuqua Elementary from 1974-1983. Visitation will be Monday April 8, 2019 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
