Judith A. Thomson Martin, 83, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully at Majestic Care of Deming.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marzelle Thomson, and her brother John Thomson.  Judy was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and best friend to many.  Those who knew Judy knew she was an avid animal enthusiast.  However, her biggest love was her family.  She dearly loved being active and attending school activities for her grandchildren.  Judy rarely missed their school and sporting events.  She worked for the Vigo County School Corporation for 32 years prior to retiring in 2014.

Judy is survived by her daughter Debby Martin Banks (Jim), two grandsons, Dylan Banks (Maria) of Evansville, and Danny Banks (Hanna), and great grandson Barron Banks of Terre Haute.  She is also survived by her nephew John Scott Thomson, nieces Lisa Thomson Lowe, and Darby Thomson Schimmel; as well as several great nephews and nieces.

In honor of Judy's wishes, cremation was entrusted to DeBaun Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Judy can be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
